José Luis Oliveira Lima

Graduated in 1989 from the Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas (FMU). He is a member of the São Paulo Lawyers’ Institute (IASP), Brazilian Institute for Criminal Sciences (IBCCrim) and Human Rights Commission Teotônio Vilela. Acted as Advisor to the Brazilian Bar Association, São Paulo Section, having presided the Commission of Rights and Privileges of the Lawyer of such entity  (2001 to 2003) and presiding CAASP - Caixa de Assistência aos Advogados de São Paulo [São Paulo Lawyers’ Assistance Society] (1998 to 2000). Wrote several articles published in magazines and newspapers and gave speeches on subjects related to the Criminal Law and Public Security, was elected twice by the Época magazine as one of the top hundred  Brazilians with major influence (2009 and 2012) and by the Yearbook “Análise Advocacia” as one of the most admired lawyers of the country, also in  2009 and 2012.
